Disable Annoying App and Game Requests in Facebook

I'm sure many of us receive annoying, persistent app and game requests in Facebook... Maybe even on a daily basis. How do we block off these annoying app requests from multiple people, specifically targetting at certain apps or games which we have no interest in?
